Inventive Perches This picture shows a favourite 'cheapie' toy; not only is it fun, but it's edible! It's a series of cheap plastic shower hooks, linked together, with a long piece of millet threaded through the hooks, and stretched across the flight, left a little loose so it swings a bit. Nobody is actually using this swing at the moment - the 'Birdy Swimming Hole', an over-sized version of a home-made bird-bath, has just been hung up, in the background, and they are all zooming over to splash on in. (canaries love to bathe)
