Time To Eat!

Their bath over, more of the youngsters, most of them hens, have congregated on the millet-perch to gossip, preen, and munch on millet. One or two, seeming more like little feathered fish than anything else, are still splashing about in the Swimming Hole. Perhaps their feathers mimic fish scales for a reason?
