Momma? Peanut has left the nest briefly, in order to eat more food with which to feed her babies. Alerted by the slight bouncing of the nest as she leaves, a tiny head pops up, mouth open, hoping for more food. At this stage in their lives, the young canary chicks must seem like bottomless little pits to their parents!
