Almost As Big As Mom   The chicks have given up the tactic of taking turns being fed. They are growing so fast that their bodies have trouble keeping up - as a result, they seem to be always hungry! Their baby feathers have come in well enough by their twelfth day that it is getting difficult to see the skin beneath it. Not much like the naked little things of only a few days ago!
