A Rare Moment of Peace   It is getting close to the time when the chicks will fledge - that is, leave the nest. They are beginning to show more awareness of, and interest in, the world around and outside the nest. This picture shows a rare moment when the two chicks, for once, are neither sleeping nor eating, but just sitting quietly and gazing at everything around them.
