Welcome to the

Canary Cam Archives

Twenty Days Old

Big as they are getting to be, the youngsters are still babies, and still growing. Due to the effort of growth and learning to be a big bird, they require more rest than an adult canary.

Earlier in the morning they practiced foraging for their own food, with a little bit of top-up from Mom - but just now it's time for a well-earned break.

This site is dedicated to all of those who try to help others on our journey to a better
tomorrow, and especially to Jack Merkens, whose last words to me were "Promise
me you'll keep writing about those canaries! Never stop, ok? Promise!"
Okay, Jack. I promise.
