The Pins Arrive

The next morning finds Peepity hard at work feeding, while Baby Doll relaxes in the background, preening.

If you look closely, you can clearly see that the pin-feathers are coming in strongly now, on each chick - it will be a few more days before they unfurl, but soon each chick will be covered in a lovely warm coat of feathers.
