Mom Caves In After a day or so of not feeding, Baby Doll has given in to the pressure from both her mate and her chicks, and has resumed helping Peepity to keep the youngsters fed. She has not, though, given up on her idea to rebuild the nest - just delayed it for a few days. This is why I tend to breed in pairs, rather than one male to several hens - a good feeding father can make a world of difference if a hen decides to stop feeding for awhile!
