Getting Warmer
It is a warm day outside, and it can get hot when you have four little birdie-bodies packed into a nest - the chicks cool off a little by stretching their necks over the edge of the nest, allowing as much air as possible to circulate around them.
One of the younger chicks is enjoying a good wing stretch - sure feels good, to stretch out a little!
If you look closely, you can see that the tips of the wing feathers are starting to unfurl. At this point they look like little feather dusters, with the handles stuck into the wing!
