Welcome to the

Canary Cam Archives

The Clutch is Set

The last egg is laid - it's almost always a little bluer, can you spot it? - and the new clutch of eggs is set, exactly a month to the day after the first clutch hatched. (more usual would be five or six weeks)

These eggs, if fertile (that is never a guarantee), are expected to hatch June 18th - while incubation is really set in terms of hours, usually with a canary it will be 13 or 14 days.

This site is dedicated to all of those who try to help others on our journey to a better
tomorrow, and especially to Jack Merkens, whose last words to me were "Promise
me you'll keep writing about those canaries! Never stop, ok? Promise!"
Okay, Jack. I promise.
