490: 30" x 18" x 74" H |
What's better than the 480 small flight cage? Try two similarly roomy small pet cages stacked one on top of the other! This deluxe 'double-split' dual-level wrought iron, powder-coated cage comes with its own stand, including broad, easy-roll carpet castors, and is 30" by 18" by 63" tall. The stand brings the total height to 74 inches overall, with each cage 31" tall. It has 1/2" bar spacing, and 2 extra-large 10" by 15" access doors. It comes with 8 hardwood perches, 4 plastic food cups, 4 removable shelves, 4 removable ladders, and a 2 slide-out trays, each with a slide-out grill above. |
![]() 530: 22" x 18" x 65" H |
Slightly smaller than the 480. the 530 is a great cage for smaller tame pet birds, with its opening top that converts into a play area. Like the 480, the 530 is also made of wrought iron, and has a durable, long-lasting powder-coating in a choice of four colours, for a cage that will last a lifetime. This cage has 1/2" bar spacing, and comes with 2 hardwood perches, 2 stainless steel bowls, a pull-out tray, and an removeable grate above the pan. It also has an over-sized door and a seed guard, and the included stand has its own carpet castors and a handy shelf. |
![]() 594: 39" x 24" x 70" H |
This dark-green-and-white rooftop cage is close to ideal for a pet canary, offering plenty of room to fly. It's also great for other small birds, too, and works beautifully for a small group of gouldians, society finches, or other such small sociable species. Or use this cage to set up a small planted aviary for a pair of waxbills, if you prefer to be a little more exotic! It comes with 6 hardwood perches, 6 plastic cups (again, too large for canaries or finches), a steel pull-out tray, a H.D. pull out grill, 1/2" bar spacing, and heavy duty casters. The two large doors make for easy access and cage-cleaning. This cage will require very little customization to give your pet canary (or finches) a wonderful home! |
![]() 2580: 58" x 18" x 33"" H Flight or Breeding Cage (not dividable) |
This practical and economic cage is just short of 5 feet long and 3 feet tall. It makes a wonderful flight cage for a single pet canary, or small groups of hens or youngsters, outside of
breeding season, and makes a marvelous community cage for groups of the more sociable finches. |
![]() 2590: 58" x 18" x 43" H Flight or Breeding Cage (not divideable) |
This cage makes a wonderful flight cage for canaries or finches. It is almost 5 feet long, and just over 3 1/2 feet tall. Use it outside of breeding season for groups of young or hen canaries, or year round for groups of more sociable finches. |
![]() 2460: Breeding Cage w/ removeable divider 30" x 18" x 18" H |
This cage is 2 1/2 feet long, by 1 1/2 feet wide and tall. It comes with a removeable divider, and can be used for breeding, or (without the divider, and with the perches re-arranged) as a roomier-than-usual pet cage. You can choose one of several stands as an extra, and discounts are available if you buy two or more. |
![]() 2570: 30" x 18" x 70" H |
These small flights are the tallest offered in this group, and when set up correctly for smaller birds, each will make an excellent small vertical flight cage, especially when you have hens you want to see get plenty of exercise throughout the year. The included cups are too large for canaries or finches, but it is easy to remove them and use smaller more appropriate cups instead. Just be sure not to crowd the 'middle' space with too many long perches, make certain to keep any food offerings lower down in the cage, and a pair of perches near the top of the cage, and watch your hens get all the exercise they need throughout the year! |
![]() 2490: Vertical Flight Cage 30" x 18" x 55" H |
Although shorter by 15 inches than the 2570 cage, the 2490 cages still make excellent small vertical flight cages, especially when you have hens you want to see get plenty of exercise throughout the year. Just rearrange the perches to optimize the space for your hens' use. |
![]() 2481: Breeding Cages Set of 2 Cages + Stand Each cage: 36" by 18" by 18" H |
This is a set of two large stackable breeding cages with removable dividers - exactly what you need if you want to breed more than one pair of canaries! These cages are electro-plated during welding - this method makes the coating much safer for birds than the hot-dipped or G.A. W. method of galvanizing. These cages are roomier than most breeding cages on the market, and will make a good home for a single pet too, if not divided or crowded with too many toys and perches. |
![]() 2421: Breeding Cages Set of 4 Cages + Stand Each cage: 30" by 10.5" by 15" H |
These are four medium-sized stackable breeding cages with removable dividers - very useful if you have a limited amount of space yet plan to breed more than one pair of canaries. These cages are electro-plated during welding - this method makes the coating much safer for birds than the hot-dipped or G.A. W. method of galvanizing, but thorough cleaning will still be necessary. These cages can be good for a single pet too, as they will allow some room to fly if not divided or crowded with toys and perches. |
![]() 2411: Breeding Cages Set of 4 Cages + Stand Each cage: 26.5" x 10.5" x 15" H |
This set of four small stackable breeding cages has removable dividers, and is just what you need if you want to breed more than one pair of canaries, yet have very limited space. These cages are electro-plated, galvanized before welding - this method makes the coating reasonably safe for birds, but thorough cleaning of the bars will still be necessary. While a little on the small side, these cages can be good for a single pet, too, as they will allow some room to fly if not divided or crowded with toys and perches. |
![]() 2420 Breeding Cage (not divideable) 24" x 16" x 16" H |
I don't recommend breeding canaries in a cage like this, as it can get a bit crowded and there's no divider, but this is a good cage for a pet - it's a little small, but will allow a little room to fly if not crowded with toys, and with the perches arranged properly. Discounts are available if you buy caselots or sets with a stand. |
![]() 2430 Breeding Cage w/ removeable divider 24" x 16" x 16" H |
This is the most commonly-seen size of breeding cage for canaries, 2 feet by 16 inches wide and high. It comes in black or white. When divided, each compartment is a bit small for a canary to live in for long. Without the divider, and with the perches rearranged, this makes a good pet cage, and can allow a little room to fly if not crowded with toys and perches. Stands are available as an extra, and discounts are available if you buy two or more. |
![]() 2470 Breeding Cage (not divideable) 30" x 18" x 18" H |
This cage is an excellent shape for canaries or finches, and with the perches rearranged so that they run front-to-back on either side, rather than side-to-side as shown, will make an excellent pet cage. I don't recommend breeding canaries in a cage that is not dividable, unless you have a pair that gets along very well, but you could spend much more on some pet cages and still not have a cage as roomy as this! It comes in black or white, and stands are also available. Get discounts if you buy two or more! |
![]() 2480 Breeding Cage (not divideable) 30" x 18" x 36" H |
This cage is tall enough to allow for some up-and-down flight, with the perches rearranged to run front-to-back on either side, instead of side-to-side as shown. While I don't recommend trying to breed in a cage that is not divideable, this kind of cage can come in very handy when weaning youngsters - it's small enough to be secure, and big enough to allow them to learn to fly. It is available in case-lots only, with two cages per case, and is available in black or white. |

Here you see a variety of the stands available from Bird and Cage. Multi-cage as well as single-cage stands are available in black or white, each with its own set of heavy-duty castors for secure and easy movement of cage-and-stand. |
