Playtime!

Canaries love to have a non-toxic tree such as this blue spruce to play in, as long as you know there have been no fertilizers of pesticides used on it within the last couple of years of so. Just don't leave the trees in their aviary or flight cage for more than a day or two, or you will find, instead of a living tree, a stripped leafless (or in this case needle-less) skeleton of what used to be the tree you gave them!

time for fun!

This site is dedicated to all of those who try to help others on our journey to a better
tomorrow, and especially to Jack Merkens, whose last words to me were "Promise
me you'll keep writing about those canaries! Never stop, ok? Promise!"
Okay, Jack. I promise.
